We have a major teaching and training trip ready to leave for Africa on Monday, August 14. The trip will involve two countries - Tanzania and Kenya.
The East African nation of Tanzania will be the first stop. Our Executive Director Wayne King will be joined by Ivan Spencer, minister at Fox Creek Christian Church (Lawrenceburg, KY) for the first portion of the mission trip.
Wayne and Ivan will be preaching, teaching, and doing house-to-house evangelism in the cities of Mbeya and Dar es Salaam.
Ivan will return to the USA on August 29, but Wayne will travel north to Kenya.
Wayne will be ministering in Kenya from August 29-September 04. He'll be working with 10 different locations where church work has been started as a result of the Global / International Bible School outreach!
Wayne will also be involved in the distribution of Bibles made possible by a VBS offering from Mt. Eden Christian Church (Lexington, KY).
Then on September 05, Wayne will go back to Tanzania. This time, he'll travel to the northwest corner of the country and Mwanza where he'll work with a new church as well as check up on a prison ministry.
Wayne will leave Tanzania on September 13, returning home to the USA on September 14.
