2006 Mission Journeys produce great results
It has been another banner year for the Mission Journeys, as the outreach ministry continued to experience remarkable growth and impact.
This year has seen record numbers with 29 trips and nearly 525 participants!
These work, teaching, and/or evangelistic trips, ministered in several different mission locations on 5 different continents. Our volunteers served in Brazil, Mexico, Romania, Taiwan, Tanzania, and in AZ, KY, LA, MS, SD, WA, right here in the United States.
While time and space won't allow for sharing all the stories, here are some of the many great things that have happened...

In Buras, LA, teams helped with clean-up efforts, home & boat repairs, as well as working on the new base camp and possible new church plant.
Local resident Lloyd Boudreaux was baptized in the Mississippi River as a result of teams working to repair his boat he calls home.
Host Missionary Garry Jones wrote, "He has told several times how he had lost all hope until his twelve little angels from First Church of Christ (Burlington, KY), came and removed the debris from his boat deck, giving him new hope."
